[Website Availability, DNS, Port and UX Check from Multiple Countries](https://geopinger.net/en)
If every check location returns a timeout or connection refused, the issue is almost certainly on the site''s end — the server is down, the domain has expired, or DNS isn''t resolving. Pull up your registrar and confirm the domain is active, then check your hosting control panel for any suspended account notices or resource limit alerts.
This usually points to geo-restricted routing or a regional CDN misconfiguration. Your origin server might be healthy, but edge nodes in specific regions are failing to cache or forward requests correctly. Log into your CDN provider and check node health for those regions. Also verify that your firewall or WAF rules aren''t blocking entire IP ranges tied to certain countries.
- Check whether your CDN is actually active and serving cached content — a cache miss forces every request back to the origin
- Look at your TTL settings; values under 60 seconds cause excessive re-fetching
- Review your server''s geographic location relative to the failing nodes — a single-region host will always show elevated latency from the opposite side of the world
- Consider whether large uncompressed assets are dragging up TTFB across the board
Propagation after a recent DNS change can take up to 48 hours, and some resolvers in Asia or South America lag behind. Use GEOPinger to confirm which regions still return old records. If propagation is complete but resolution still fails, check that your nameservers aren''t rate-limiting queries from certain IP blocks.
- Expired or mismatched certificate — verify expiry date and that the cert covers all subdomains you''re testing
- Intermediate chain not installed — many servers work fine locally but fail on strict remote validators
- Check that port 443 isn''t blocked by your hosting firewall for non-local connections
A check that returns HTTP 200 but delivers a maintenance page or redirect loop still counts as a functional failure. Look at your .htaccess rewrite rules and confirm your load balancer isn''t routing certain geographic IP ranges to a staging environment by mistake.
